Foundation (Preparatory) Faculty

The Foundation Faculty enables the students to:

  • deepen their knowledge of Mathematics and Ukrainian;
  • get ready for entrance examinations in Mathematics and Ukrainian;
  • master the fundamentals of Economics;
  • master the skills of PC working;
  • have the results of final examinations accepted as University entrance examinations.

Preparatory Devision

Secondary school leavers who have got GCSFs are entitled to study at the Preparatory Devision.

At the Preparatory Devision they are taught the following subjects:

  • Mathematics;
  • Ukrainian;
  • Fundamentals of Economics;
  • Informatics;
  • A Foreign Language.

Tuition form - full-time (5 times a week, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Classes start on the 1st of December. Students from other cities and towns get accommodation in the students’ hostel.

The Students of the Preparatory Devision are admitted to the University by the results of final examinations held in June.

Foundation (Preparatory) Courses

11-year secondary school students are entitled to take the preparatory courses. They are taught Mathematics and Ukrainian which enable them to take entrance examinations.

Tuition Forms:

  • Part-time (evening classes, 4 times a week, from 5 p. m. to 7.30 p.m.)
  • Part-time (Saturday classes, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • Part-time (by correspondence for the students from other cities and towns, with classes during winter and spring holidays and consultations on Saturdays).

Classes start either on October 1 or on February 1 for the first two forms of tuition.

The students of the Preparatory Courses take part in the Olympiad held in May. At their will the results of the Olympiad may be considered entrance examinations.
